Rob Cross is the Chief Operating Officer at Baker Group, with over 30 years of experience in the mechanical contracting industry. Starting as a plumber’s helper and rising through the ranks from apprentice to foreman, he later transitioned into leadership roles in detailing, project management, and field operations. Rob combines deep field knowledge with strategic insight, driving operational excellence and innovation. A champion of design and prefabrication, he co-invented Baker Group’s patented Modular Utility System in 2022. He now leads the company’s operational strategy, focusing on integrated systems, workforce development, and scalable prefabrication.
