He has published “Achieving Spatial Coordination Through BIM”, National BIM Standard v2.0, helped develop manufacturer’s software for Revit, Member of the BIM Forum Working Group, and is a Member of the Innovation & Strategy Task Force for NECA. Along with his VDC background, he has been involved in design, planning, and execution from the project level to the enterprise on projects from a 500-acre site to a 2.3M Square Foot Mixed-Use Manufacturing Building. From specific animations of work tasks to full 5D sequenced models, Adam works to leverage models & information to support field installations. He has built Design & VDC capabilities at 2 prior NECA Contractors and developed VDC Process and Fabrication Facilities. Recent Initiatives include using analytics with cloud models and CRM systems to create business data & industry metrics for VDC.

She has a reputation in the Bay Area as a strong businesswoman, an excellent engineer, and an advocate for all women in construction as well as encouraging youth to enter our trades. She was the first ever female National President of SMACNA from 2019 to 2021, formed a Women in Construction leadership Committee Nationally and local for SMACNA and Co-founded Heavy Metal Summer Experience – which was a summer camp that brought in underserved high school students and taught them about the amazing opportunities that the Sheet metal and Piping industries offer. This organization – entering its 3rd year has grown from 2 contractors and 28 students to 25 locations across the US and Canada and 425 students.
Angie is a registered Professional Mechanical Engineer in the State of California, graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with an engineering degree while also playing NCAA softball for 4 years. She just retired from Western Allied Mechanical after 35 years.

Justin has more than 20 years’ experience in the occupational safety and environmental health field and is a CertifiedSafety Professional (CSP), designated as a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist(CRIS), as well as obtained an Associate in Risk Management (ARM). He coordinates the work of SMACNA safety committee through interaction with the committee chair and its members, coordination of meeting logistics, preparing meeting agendas and reports, and directing projects including contracts and services of consultants. A graduate of West Virginia University, he earned his Masters Degree in SafetyManagement came to SMACNA after spending the last 15 years working as an InsuranceRisk Control consultant providing risk-engineering services to owners and project managers in an effort to help reduce losses and increase profitability at both the project and corporate level. He has also served as the Senior Director of Safety for theAssociated General Contractors of America (AGC) where he managed the Association’s safety and health services department to include the successful execution of departments’ committee meetings, product line, training programs, government relations, federal grants and recognition programs.Justin is also active in the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), a large professional safety association, where he serves as the Government Affairs chair of theNorthern Virginia Chapter

Hailing from a family of electrical contractors, Davis graduated from Louisiana State University in 1975. After graduation, he entered the JATC apprenticeship and successfully completed the program in 1979. Davis worked as a journeyman for several years until assuming a management role in 1984. After taking on leadership responsibilities, Davis worked with the day-to-day production as well as estimating bids, personnel decisions, and contract negotiations.
Bob Davis Electric joined NECA in 1923. Since then, the company has been actively involved with NECA at the local and national level. Kirk Davis became involved when he attended his first national convention in 1979 in San Francisco. Locally, Davis has served on the Board of Directors and the Negotiations Committee and as Vice President and President. He has been elected to multiple terms as Governor of the North Louisiana Chapter, NECA. He also served as President of the Louisiana Council. Nationally, Davis served on the Marketing Committee, the Disaster Relief Fund Committee, and the Workforce Development Committee. He was inducted into the Academy of Electrical Contracting in 2011. Davis has served as NECA’s District 3 Vice President for the last four years.
Davis has observed a gradual improvement in labor relations and working conditions for employees over the years, adding that there is now a heavier emphasis on better safety training and the needs of contractors to be successful. NECA offers members valuable resources through field services and educational programs.
Kirk has been married to his wife Becky for 46 years. They have two adult children, Todd and Tricia, and five grandchildren, with whom they enjoy spending time. Family activities include beach trips, spending time at the family farm, family lake house, and attending LSU tailgates. Kirk and Becky are active in their church, First United Methodist Church of Shreveport.

Starting with residential construction in the early 2000’s, Marcus joined the Commercial Construction Industry as a Sheet Metal Apprentice in 2006. While in the Sheet Metal Trade, his work experience is as a fabricator, installer, mechanical detailer, project manager, and currently is the BIM Department Manager at Dee Cramer INC. Construction Technology has always been an interest to Marcus where he has lead the implementation of Robotic Total Station layout and 3d Laser Scanning at Dee Cramer. In his personal time, Marcus enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife Tammy and daughters, Sadie and Sophia, reading books, and operating the family farm.

He came into the electrical industry after nearly a decade in the mechanical space and is passionate about helping improve the daily working conditions for employees throughout Dynalectric and the industry at large. Michael Parkes was born and raised in Rochester, NY. He was a graduate of Honeoye Falls-Lima High School and went on to earn his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University in 2003. Upon graduating from college he worked as an electrical engineer for O’Brien & Gere and then TRC where he became a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York. After eight years of working in the engineering consulting field he took a position with his family’s electrical contracting business (O’Connell Electric) as the Power Group General Manager and in 2019 was promoted to Vice President – Power Group. Michael’s group manages all of the company’s utility accounts which covers substations, underground T&D and overhead T&D. Michael is responsible for over 300 field and office employees and approximately $200 million in annual revenue. Michael currently serves as the ELECTRI Council Chair, is an ELECTRI Trustee and is a NECA Innovation and Strategy Task Force Member.

Pete Mastrorocco is Senior Vice President, Education, Events and Partnerships for the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). He supervises numerous program areas, including education, meetings, events, the NECA Show and annual convention, sales and partnerships.
Pete joined the NECA national office in 2019 as Vice President of Education after a brief period of consulting for the association. In 2021, Mastrorocco’s responsibilities were expanded to Meetings, Events and Convention, as well as Sales and Partnerships.
Pete started his career with NECA in June of 2012 serving as the Executive Director of the Long Island Chapter, NECA, where he was able to apply his various business experience while gaining valuable experience in collective bargaining, labor relations and association management.
Pete also served as President of P&D Distribution, a wholesale food distribution company catering to Long Island’s east end with specialty foods and artfully curated provisions. He spent four years developing his customer base and product offerings and negotiated the sale of P&D Distribution in April of 2012.
Preceding his work with P&D Distribution, Pete spent twelve years at 1-800-Flowers.Com ultimately serving as Vice President of Fulfillment Operations where he was responsible for the $365M Floral Fulfillment division for the $1.4B global gift retailer. Phil Matthews

Phil has more than 22 years of experience in the electrical industry and completed five years of apprenticeship training through IBEW Local 86. Before Phil joined the electrical trades, he served for several years in the United States Navy. Phil gained extensive experience performing electrical work in the natural gas industry working as a General Foreman before becoming a lead Project Manager for many of the company’s gas industry projects. Phil also has extensive experience in bridge and movable structure design build projects with a focus on control work. Phil is a graduate of the NECA Innovation Institute, a one-year professional training program designed for executive-level thinking and leadership. In 2023, Phil was promoted to Director of Construction Services at O’Connell Electric, where he leads development and execution for the department’s long-term strategy to continue enhancing O’Connell Electric’s design and fabrication services. Robert J. Beck became President of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America at the conclusion of the association’s Annual Convention in Phoenix, AZ, in March 2023.
Robert is the CEO of the John W. Danforth Company, one of the largest mechanical contractors in the Northeast United States. The company was founded in 1884 and operates five offices across New York State, Ohio, and Vermont. Danforth is proud to be a charter member of the MCAA as well as a 100% employee-owned company.
Recognizing the importance of continued education and industry involvement, Danforth is part of several MCAA local affiliates. Robert is currently a New York State Pipe Trades Fund Trustee and has led other local labor-management initiatives.
Robert’s first experience with MCAA was at a Mid-Year Education Conference. He serves as Immediate Past Chair of the Project Managers Education Committee and has been both an instructor and a facilitator for MCAA’s Institute for Project Management (IPM) and Advanced Institute for Project Management (AIPM). He has also presented at MCAA’s Annual Convention and serves on the MCAA Audit Committee. He is a graduate of the IPM and AIPM as well as MCAA’s Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI). Demonstrating an early aptitude for the craft, Shane embarked on his formal apprenticeship journey immediately after graduating from high school at the age of 18. In 2005, Shane achieved a significant milestone by being recognized as the Apprentice of the Year by LU 226 in Topeka, Kansas, a testament to his dedication and skills in the field. His commitment to the electrical trade continued to grow, leading him to serve on the Executive Board in 2010 and subsequently being elected as the President of LU 226 from 2011 to 2012. Shane's leadership skills and expertise caught the attention of DL Smith Electric, where he assumed the role of Service Manager in December 2013.
