Rebekah Scharfe, PE, is a licensed professional engineer and business leader in the electrical contracting industry. She began her career as an electrical design engineer while completing her M.S. in electrical engineering.
Rebekah later joined her family’s Boston based electrical contracting firm, John A. Penney Co., where she served as president until the company’s sale in 2025. She now leads operations at Seaport Energy, a specialized electrical contracting company focused on service and maintenance, EV charging, events, and fit-outs. At Seaport Energy, Rebekah leverages automation and data analysis to streamline operations, optimize efficiency, and deliver exceptional results for clients.
